PSSA

A Particularly Sensitive Sea Area (PSSA) is an area that needs special protection through action by IMO because of its significance for recognized ecological or socio-econmic or scientific reason and which may be vulnerable to damage be international maritime activities

Loadline zones

International Loadlines zones, A loadline is to allow a maximum legal limit up to which a ship can be leaded by cargo. These limits helps mitigate the risks to the vessel by prescribing freeboard and buoyancy

JWHC

Joint War Committee Listed Areas : These are areas where owners are required to notify underwriters of Voyages

INL

The International Limits (INL) define the geographical limits within which ships are able to operate without incurring additional insurance premium from hull and machinery and other relevant underwriters.
